Rock The Block Earth Day Edition 4/24!
Good morning, Team Cincy!
It’s that time again—let’s show up, show out, and make an impact! We’re excited to invite you to our annual Rock The Block: Clean Up Edition in partnership with DPS!
This year, we’re bringing the energy to the Fairmount neighborhood on April 24th, meeting at LEAP Academy from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Not only will we be helping beautify the community, but we’ll also have the chance to connect with students, build relationships, and pour into the neighborhood in a meaningful way.
We’re calling on departments to bring the full experience—set up tables, engage with students, and showcase the incredible work happening across the City. This is our moment to connect, collaborate, and represent!
Rock The Block is all about interdepartmental teamwork, community pride, and making a visible difference in our neighborhoods—and Team Cincy always delivers!
But we’re not stopping there... this Clean Up Edition rolls right into our RTB Business Edition! After the cleanup, keep the momentum going by supporting local and grabbing lunch at one of Cincinnati’s greats—Camp Washington Chili!
If you’re ready to be part of the action, please reach out to Brooke Lipscomb for more details and to sign up.
Let’s come together, bring the energy, and make Fairmount shine!
A one-page summary of the recent changes to absentee ballot deadlines is here below: Absentee ballots must now be received by the Board of Elections by 7:30pm on Election Day. When it comes to the voting by mail, early is the new on-time.
My name is Trevor Russell and I’m with Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, working on expanding our Adopt-A-Spot program with local businesses across the city. Our business-focused Adopt-A-Spot program gives local businesses a way to take care of the area right outside their storefront or in a nearby public space. We provide all cleanup supplies including buckets, litter grabbers, bags, and safety vests. In return, participants help keep their space clean on a regular basis and report what they collect after cleanups (or provide an estimate ahead of time). It’s designed to be low-effort but high-impact, helping improve corridor cleanliness, visibility, and overall neighborhood pride. Take a look at the flyer included in this message." Trevor Russell
